2. Service Content and Scope
2.1 Service Description
This extension provides the following main features:
- Bookmark Management: Local management and organization of browser bookmarks
- Cloud Sync: Cross-device bookmark data synchronization (requires account registration)
- Backup and Recovery: Bookmark data backup and recovery features
- Import/Export: Support for bookmark data import/export in multiple formats
- Other Features: Additional auxiliary features provided based on version
2.2 Service Availability
- Best Effort Principle: We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability and stability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- Maintenance Time: We may need to perform regular system maintenance, during which services may be temporarily unavailable
- Free Service: This extension is currently a free service, we reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future
2.3 Service Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the service at any time without prior notice. For major changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
3. User Registration and Account
3.1 Registration Eligibility
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old (13 years for US users) to register an account. Minors must use under guardian consent and supervision
- Accurate Information: You should provide accurate and complete registration information and update it promptly
- One Account Per Person: Each user may register only one account, multiple accounts must not be registered maliciously
3.2 Account Security
- Password Protection: You are responsible for securely keeping your account password and are responsible for all activities under your account
- Security Notification: If you discover unauthorized use of your account, you should immediately notify us
- Non-transferable: Accounts are for your personal use only and may not be transferred, sold, or rented to others
3.3 Account Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your account at any time. After cancellation:
- Cloud data will be deleted within 30 days
- Local data is not affected and is managed by you
- Cancellation is irreversible, please proceed with caution
4. User Conduct Standards
4.1 Lawful Use
You promise to use this extension only for lawful purposes and must not:
- Violate Laws: Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws and regulations
- Infringe Rights: Infringe on others' intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights
- Harmful Content: Upload, store, or transmit illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
- Malicious Acts: Spread viruses, malicious code, or other content that may damage systems
- Interfere with Service: Interfere with or disrupt normal service operation, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Commercial Abuse: Use services for commercial purposes or batch operations without authorization
4.2 Technical Restrictions
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble this extension
- Bypass any technical protection measures or usage restrictions
- Use automated tools (such as bots, crawlers) to access services unless explicitly authorized
- Attempt to obtain other users' account information or data
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of this extension (except open source components)
5. User Content and Data
5.1 User Content Ownership
- You Retain Ownership: You retain complete ownership and intellectual property rights to user content created or uploaded through this extension
- Authorization License: To provide services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, and transmit your user content
5.2 User Content Responsibility
- Content Legality: You assume full responsibility for the legality, authenticity, and appropriateness of user content
- We Do Not Review: We do not pre-review or monitor user content, but reserve the right to review and remove inappropriate content
- Disclaimer: We assume no responsibility for user content, including any losses or damages resulting from content
5.3 Data Backup
- Your Responsibility: You should regularly backup important data, we are not responsible for data loss
- Backup Function: The backup function we provide is only a convenience tool and does not guarantee data integrity or recoverability
- Data Export: We provide data export functionality, recommend regularly exporting important data locally
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Rights
The intellectual property rights of this extension and all its content (including but not limited to software code, design, graphics, interface, text, logos) belong to us or our licensors, protected by copyright law, trademark law, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Limited Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license solely for your personal non-commercial use of this extension. This license does not grant you any intellectual property rights.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 "AS IS" Provision
This extension and services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability warranty
- Fitness for a particular purpose warranty
- Non-infringement warranty
- Continuous availability, timeliness, security, or error-free warranty
- Accuracy or reliability warranty
7.2 Usage Risk
- At Your Own Risk: You use this extension at your own risk
- No Technical Support Guarantee: We may provide technical support, but do not guarantee timely or effective resolution of all issues
- Third-party Services: This extension may integrate or link to third-party services, we are not responsible for these services
7.3 Data Loss
We make reasonable efforts to protect your data, but do not guarantee data will never be lost. Situations that may lead to data loss include but are not limited to:
- Technical failures or system errors
- Network attacks or security incidents
- Force majeure events
- User operation errors
- Service termination
Strongly recommend regularly backing up important data locally.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Scope of Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
No Liability for Indirect Losses: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits
- Data loss
- Loss of goodwill
- Business interruption
- Other intangible losses
Liability Cap: Even for direct losses, our total liability does not exceed:
- Fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event (if any), or
- $100 (or equivalent currency)
- Whichever is greater.
9. Service Changes and Termination
9.1 Our Right to Terminate Service
We may terminate or suspend your access rights in the following situations:
- You violate any terms of this Agreement
- Your actions may bring legal liability to us or other users
- Termination is required for technical or security reasons
- We decide to stop providing services
9.2 Termination Consequences
After service termination:
- Your right to use this extension and services terminates immediately
- You should stop using this extension and may choose to uninstall
- Cloud-stored data will be processed according to the Privacy Policy
- Local data is managed by you
- Terms of this Agreement that should survive by nature (such as intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will remain effective
10. Agreement Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. For significant changes, we will notify you through:
- Notifications displayed in the extension
- Email notification (if you provided an email)
- Announcements on our official website or support page
Continuing to use this extension after modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree with the modifications, you should stop using this extension and cancel your account (if applicable).
11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 Applicable Law
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with:
- EU/EEA Users: Laws of your country of habitual residence
- China Mainland Users: Laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict of law rules)
- US Users: Laws of [Company State], United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply
- Other Regions: Laws of [Company Registration Location]
11.2 Dispute Resolution

Step 2: Formal Dispute Resolution
- EU Users: You may bring suit in a court of competent jurisdiction in your habitual residence
- China Mainland Users: Submit to People's Court jurisdiction if negotiation fails
- US Users: Binding arbitration through American Arbitration Association (AAA)
- Other Regions: Submit to court of competent jurisdiction
